Over the next few days London will be host to it's 10th Fashion Week dedicated solely to menswear. The highlight of the season is undoubtedly the Nigel Cabourn presentation which takes place on Henrietta Street in his store. It's not just technically brilliant workwear items that draw me in, but of course Mr Cabourn himself who has a personality as vibrant as his skill at design.
Tucked on the south side of the grandly popular Covent Garden Piazza, Henrietta Street has become a menswear haven in London. Occupying the former buildings of a Duke's estate, infamous publishing houses and a 19th century hospital, iconic brands like Nigel Cabourn and Fred Perry sit opposite one another. I was lucky enough to work on a journal this season launching at LFWM featuring some of the interesting characters I've encountered this year. It's complimentary and available now across stores in the area.
