The key to a successful photoshoot is all in the planning and preparation. When it was confirmed I'd be shooting for one of my favourite Scottish designers, I decided that a strong narrative was essencial. Digging out my scrapbook I began to mull over my favourite editorial shoots from the past few months and take notes of the direction to move in. Over the next few weeks, I began my ritual of ripping, cutting and sticking to create an overall theme which became an ethereal, youthful experience set amongst nature - Tavi was a big inspiration here. My collages gave me the underpinning.
The next stage is finding the location & building the team - make up, hair, video producer and music - to create my vision. A big thank you goes to Erin Bradley-Scott, Rachel Louise, Salvador Navarrete & Jason Hillier for making it all possible.
It's always important to document as the shoot is in full swing - below are some outtakes and behind the scenes shots from our day at Ross Hall Park, full shoot and video to follow.
