The shoes themselves come in burnished gray or walnut grain and feature Cherchbi’s iconic “Herdwyck no. 10 tweed.” Of course every pair is hand crafted in Cheaney’s factory in Northamptonshire, making it the perfect partnership. Both the boot and brogue are available through Cheaney’s online shop.
WEST: Paradise by Way of Kensal Green
Paradise is the "Narnia" of pubs. Covering three floors and stretching for nearly a full block, there is always something new to discover. This to me is how England does contemporary pubs best, with a mixture of drink, food, music and visual stimulation. This was my favourite venue to shoot because of it's variety, I love that they even have a club room.
Visit Paradise by Way of Kensal Green at 19 Kilburn Ln, W10 4AE. The nearest tube stop is Kensal Green.
EAST: The Adam and Eve
It's often hard to find a venue with enough space for more than a handful of friends, so I love the Adam and Eve for it's space. They support the Cornwall Project meaning a lot of the food is right out of British soil, posting daily specials on their Instagram so you know the menu is constantly fresh.
Visit The Adam and Eve at 155 Homerton High St, E9 6AS. The nearest Overground is Homerton.
SOUTH: The Mayflower
This is my favourite historial pub in London. There are so many in the city that claim to be the oldest but this one has the most charm. It's a little out of the way which means it's unlikely to be packed with tourists and there's a brilliant a view of the Thames.
Visit The Mayflower at 117 Rotherhithe St, SE16 4NF. The nearest Overground stop is Rotherhithe.
NORTH: The Grafton
This Kentish Town establishment is one of those unsung heroes you're quite glad not everyone knows about. In many respects it's a traditional London boozer, but when you see the menu and choice of ales they clearly go above and beyond. I love the range of small plates which are perfect for a evening out with a group of mates. It's no wonder it won Pub of the Year in 2014.
Visit The Grafton at 20 Prince of Wales Rd, NW5 3LG. The nearest overground stop is Kentish Town West.
